After a long gap, I was trying to connect to SQL Server Management Studio. Getting the error. "Unable to connect to SQL Server instance". Some faded memory of starting SQL services after going to control panel was there in my mind. But where? After a few search, I found it out.
Go to Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools\Component Services.
Double click on SQL Server(MSSQLSERVER). start the service.
Connect again! Connection Success.
